Dear Friends,
DACA IS GOING TO SUPREME COURT NOVEMBER 12th SIGN UP HERE FOR WEBINAR OCTOBER 30TH AT 3 PM ET/ 12 PM PT to learn how people of faith can take action to defend DACA.
On Sept. 5th, 2017, the Trump administration terminated the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. The courts allowed current DACA recipients to apply for renewals, but new applications would not be accepted, impacting thousands of people. Immigrant youth and activists across the country took their fight to the highest court in the land, and on November 12, 2019, the US Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on the legality of the administration’s decision to terminate DACA.
Please Join Webinar #Faith4DACA on WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 30th at 3 PM ET
If the Supreme Court supports the administration’s decision to end DACA, hundreds of thousands of people who are Americans in every way but their status would lose the right to work and live without fear, and ultimately be vulnerable to deportation. We cannot let this happen. We must use our voices to protect our community.

People of faith are called to act
We need to show up for everyone– For our friends, for our congregants, for our undocumented family members. For whose with temporary protected status (TPS) or deferred enforced departure (DED) recipients who live every day in limo. As we fight for DACA and lift up the stories of our DACA recipient community members, we stand with all, no matter their status.
SEE FAITH4DACA ACTION TOOLKIT HERE
We invite people of all faiths to be in solidarity with immigrant youth by dedicating a time of prayer or testimony in support of DACA at your regular weekly worship service to pray with Dreamers and undocumented youth. As we spiritually prepare for the Supreme Court arguments, we must pray for the protection of undocumented youth in these dire moments.
