The Justice Table recognizes there are hundreds of stories of churches making a more just and fair society. Many of us have had the experience of hearing exciting ministries that made us realize that “we could do that too.” While task groups have been formed around hunger/poverty, women/children, immigration/refugees, and care of creation, we welcome all stories of what is already happening as we embrace the knowledge that as the body of Christ we are called to justice.
Some stories may be used for future Disciples News Service editions, so submit your short descriptions along with the name of the congregation, city/state, a contact person/information and up to three photos (JPG) to news@disciples.org.
